Brandon is Back in Action

After having missed two games due to a sprained right ankle, Brandon has been back in action and has led the Blazers to a 1-1 record since his return.

In his first game back on the court against the Lakers, Brandon had 20 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds in a 119-111 victory against the red hot Lakers in with he played 38 minutes.

On Sunday night, Brandon had 27 points in 37 minutes in a losing effort against Golden State, in which the final score was 110-104. Brandon comments on the Golden State game, “The first two [meetings with Golden State] were in our building, and we did a good job of controlling the tempo…We needed this game because they’re the eighth seed, and if that’s what we’re shooting for, we’ve got to do a better job of coming out to win this game. They did a good job of defending their eighth spot. For us, every game is a playoff game because we’re so far behind.”
